Glory is an important aspect of growth as it allows for age progression, extra religious sites and aditional heroes and cities. The main way to increase glory is via building and research upgrades with small aditional amounts gained from completing lairs (level 10 awarding 1 point, 20= 2points, 30= 3 points, 40= 4 points, 50= 5 points, 60= 6 points, 70= 7 points, 80= 8 points, 90= 9 points and level 100 awarding 10 points). Personaly i prioritise farms/lumber mills/quarries/metel mines until they reach level 15 before abandoning them until they are the very last thing left to upgrade, opting instead to supply my city with regular plunder runs on enemy cities. I always upgrade my town centre, one civilian house and my warehouse as high as i can first, then fully upgrade research academy, military armory, civic centre and hero academy so i can keep research rolling at all times. Next in line is my archery range, barracks and tavern so i can properly produce my training archers and improve my chances of recruiting purple heroes, then civilian houses for population and a fast glory jump. Research-wise my priorities are always bandages (less down time for heros between fights), construction (faster build time), bowyer (archer production) and the 3 ranged research in the military armory (faster training) and if in a hot area for enemy attacks i go for pallets (protects resources). Mind you this is just my personal preferance.
